ABOUT AROMICA TEA :

Aromica Tea was launched on Nov 2018 at The India International Tea and Coffee Expo, Kolkata on 22nd Nov 2018 as a proprietary firm. It was incorporated as a Pvt.Ltd. Company on 13th February 2019 .Based in Guwahati, Assam; the startup is involved in creating VALUE ADDED Teas by curating, manufacture and blending of different Wellness Teas . It provides a procurement and market support to more than 250 Small Tea Growers residing at the nooks and corner of Assam.

Ranjit Baruah, the Founder Director has had 20 years of experience of working in tea plantation, tea manufacture and Tea tasting.

At Aromica Tea, we try to create tea blends that has nutritional and health benefits .With an aim to cater to the total WELLNESS of a consumer, all our products uses natural ingredients and teas which are produced using organic farming.

It’s our constant effort to promote Assam Tea in the international arena through means of value addition.

At AROMICA TEA, we do blending and packaging of teas by value adding to the products. All our ingredients are natural and locally sourced as far as possible.

We deal with Speciality Teas and Luxury Teas and presently have 40 Speciality Tea blends and in the process of adding some more in the near future.

Some of our teas include Exotic Assam Green Tea, Mint Green Tea, Tulsi Green Tea, Lemon grass Ginger Green Tea.

The Speciality Teas includes, Slim Tea, Vedic Tea, Golden Orthodox Tea, Yellow tea among others.

The Bhoot Jolokia Tea ( King Chilly ) Tea , Blue Tea, Masala Tea, Vanilla Tea, Chocolate Tea , Bamboo Shoot tea, Rudraksha Tea, Moringa Tulsi Green Tea, Chamomile Tea , Insulin Tea etc are some exotic blends.

The Bhoot Jolokia tea is the only blend in the world and has been filed for patent and awaiting approval.

Some new launches of the company has been able to appeal to the market. SWARNA PANAM- the 24 carat edible gold tea, Zelenskyy Tea, Khilang-The Ethnic Tea and Bir Lachit-The essence of Assam has been popular.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

The Board of Directors of AROMICA TEA (M/S TENDER BUDS TEAS & CRAFTS PVT.LTD) consists of 5 members out of which 3 are ladies. The company believes VALUE ADDITION will give a boost to the products. We have put our experience and expertise in this effort.

We at AROMICA TEA are putting our small effort to promote the farmers, help ASSAM TEA regain its lost glory and support women grower and educated girls live a dignified life and attain an economic upliftment.

MARKET :

The major business is D2C, B2B .The products are available on many E Commerce Platforms across India.

The company has started exports to Australia, Japan, and Canada. Besides these, Aromica tea is being sold in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, France, Switzerland & USA.

Corporate Gifting and Co Branding is another major source of revenue for the company.

The Govt.of Assam is a major client for corporate gifting . Other corporate clients are Numaligarh Refinery Ltd, Oil India Limited, AIDC, AIIDC, Apollo Hospitals .

2. AROMICA TEA has been selected by Assam Start Up-The NEST, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship ( IIE) and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park as an incubatee for hand holding support.

3. Winner of NERES 1.00 Entrepreneurial Summit organized by Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (Guwahati)

4. Winner of Start Up Contest organized by GIZ, Germany. Received a grant in aid and a consultancy contract.

5. Won the WORLD TEA EXCELLENCE AWARD 2020.

6. Aromica Tea has been recognized as among Top 10 Tea & Coffee Brands 2021 by SiliconIndia magazine.

7. The company has been recently funded by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.

ABOUT RANJIT BARUAH- FOUNDER DIRECTOR

Ranjit Baruah is an ex tea planter and has an experience of about 20 years in Tea management. Having worked with Williamson Magor Tea Company (Presently McLeod Russel India Ltd) in various managerial capacities across different locations of Assam and West Bengal, he is experienced in Tea production, Tea Tasting and Blending.
